A look at the CanJam Europe 2016

After visiting the CanJam in Essen for the first time last year, and having been very impressed by the pleasant atmosphere, it was without question that we made another trip to Europe's largest headphone show this year. On September 24th and 25th, it was finally time again and we took the opportunity to get an up-to-date overview of the topic of headphones.

M6 Encore 255 / Connection from Musical Fidelity – Now In Our Showrooms

Since the announcement at the beginning of the year, the all-in-one system of the British hi-fi manufacturer Musical Fidelity has been spoken for, as the complete system was met with great approval and perfectly compliments every hi-fi system. The M6 Encore models are two modern multi-format music streamers with a CD player/ripper and a wide range of connectivity options. The M6 Encore 225 has a power amplifier integrated and the M6 Encore Connect can be connected to an existing power amplifier.

New Headphones In Studio: AKG K872

With the K812 Pro having been introduced in 2013, the new AKG is in itself a small piece of art. Although the Hi-Fi and the studio market generally work according to their own laws, these open headphones have been made with with equal amounts of benevolence in both areas due to their extraordinarily natural and detailed appearance. Now the Austrians, with the K872, have entered a close variant in the race, which is available immediately for testing in our headphones studio.

First Impressions of JVC’s 4K Laser Projector DLA-Z1

The first D-ILA Projector JVC had already been developed in 1997 for professional use. Since then, the technology was steadily pursued until this year the smallest D-ILA panel hit the market with true 4K resolution and "Blu-Escent" Laser/phosphor technology. At the IFA 2016 in Berlin, the new 4K laser projector DLA-Z1 was introduced by JVC. Of course we'll take a look at the model!

After putting up the last video on the three multiroom specialists, Bluesound, Denon HEOS and Sonos, we are now giving representatives of our program to our streaming customers in the way of three different network playing devices - the Auralic Aries Mini, the Cambridge Audio CX N and Naim ND5 XS. Meanwhile the listen to berlin Sampler 2016/17 being officially published, among it all on Soundcloud where all eighteen songs can be heard in full. The delivery of the LPs was unfortunately delayed, but the CDs have arrived and so there's now a little bonus for all purchases in the retail shop and online - while stocks last. Also, we've compiled the official artist information.

Just in time for the IFA 2016, the traditional German manufacturer Loewe has a real premiere. With the Bild 7, the company is presenting an OLED TV in its portfolio for the first time.
