Sony’s New VPL Series 4K Projectors

Since the end of September, we've stocked Sony's VPL-VW590ES and VPL-VW790ES home cinema projectors. Both projectors offer a variety of impressive features in their price range. The VPL-GTZ380 4K laser projector is expected to be available from January 2021 and is particularly suitable for professional use.

The Connecticut-based hi-fi manufacturer is producing a new streaming SACD player. But the Mark Levinson No. 5101 comprises even more and once again hits the mark of outstanding, multifunctional high-end models already known from the manufacturer. We were able to demonstrate this newcomer to the market at our trade fair last weekend and will therefore now give a brief overview.

A Reason To Celebrate! Sennheiser’s HD 800 S

In 1945 Fritz Sennheiser founded the audio company under the name Laboratorium Wennebostel, to which he finally lent his own name in the late 1950s when the company marked 75 years since its inception. To celebrate this event, Sennheiser released an anniversary edition of the HD 800 S headphones. The HD 800 S Anniversary open over-ear headphones are limited to 500 units and only 50 available to Germany. In-person, the headphones look a little different. Come to see for yourself!

We pre-ordered the new CX 400BT from Sennheiser and are now eagerly awaiting their arrival! These in-ear headphones are the little brother of the TRUE Wireless 2. This comes with the promise of a vibrant sound with deep bass, natural midrange and detailed treble. In typical Sennheiser fashion, the sound can be adjusted to suit personal requirements.

As part of our HiFi & Friends Expo 2020, we had Roland Krüger from Denon telling us all about the new collector's item to mark the 110th anniversary of the company's existence. The AVC-A110 is a true aficionado's indoor model. The 13.2 channel AV amplifier is 8K capable, supports all 3D audio formats, and looks very chic with its silver-graphite finish. Everything else on the anniversary model can be found in our video.
