The design of the Panasonic television is tastefully minimalistic. The screen of the OLED TV is exceptionally flat, and only has the electronics box on the back in the lower area, which contains all the connections. There is even a clip-on panel in which the connections can be hidden. There are four HDMI inputs, an additional analogue port and three USB ports. The included remote control is illuminated.
An essential feature of the HZW1004 is, of course, its OLED technology. Thanks to this, the model has excellent colours and strong brightness or convincing black levels. The viewing angle is also very high thanks to OLED. This is ideal because Panasonic is compatible with HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision.
What stands out as the television’s highlight may sound trivial for some: The TV is mounted on the table base in such a way that it can be rotated. This means that you can swivel your TV — a detail not currently common in the TV sector due to the size of today’s TV models. Relatively, the base is very sturdy.
Another unique feature is that with the Panasonic cable, antenna and satellite can be used simultaneously making way for considerable flexibility. The HZW1004 is all too tempting for long evenings watching television.
