History
In 1923 in Berlin, Loewe was founded by brothers, David and Dr. Siegmund Loewe. Together with physcisit Manfred von Ardenne, one of the first multi-system tubes was developed that laid the foundation for the television we know today. Loewe is thus characterized not only by a long history but also by a relevant history. And after the company had to discontinue operations in the previous year, we are pleased that Loewe is finally making headway again in the TV segment.
The Latest
We’re familiar with a large number of Loewe models and in 2016 we tested the bild 7, a high-quality OLED TV. Now the discontinued range will be partially resumed, which should ultimately also create a positive mood in the living room because Loewe can use it to supply any spare parts.
The introduction of the still current product line of bild 1, bild 2 and the bild 3 will begin as early as next week! The OLED sets are excluded for the time being, but they will be available in the second half of March.
We expect Loewe to introduce new models at this year’s IFA and are already extremely excited about it. There is probably also talk of Loewe expanding its product line and not just producing TV models, but it will take a while before that happens. In any case, we remain in joyful anticipation.
