LG To Release New C & G Series OLED TVs This Year

Good news from South Korea's powerhouse, LG: Both their C and G series will receive an upgrade this year. This was already announced at the beginning of the year at CED 2023 in Las Vegas. The OLED TVs will be available in different sizes.

You’ve probably heard about the C and G series models a time or two over the past few years. That wouldn’t be surprising, since they are an established, popular series from LG. All models are equipped with the new Alpha 9 Gen6 4K AI processor. They also enjoy a new Evo panel, thanks to which the brightness and color accuracy are once again improved. In addition, the HDR display is improved, and the noise filtering is even more precise. Visually, something has also changed; the models will be slimmer and lighter than their predecessors.

Of course, the Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos formats have been incorporated. You can still look forward to HDMI 2.1a-compatible connections as well as Nvidia G-Sync, AMD FreeSync, VRR, and ALLM.

Unfortunately, we do not know when exactly the new models will be rolled out. What is clear, however, is that we are curious and will, of course, report. So this should serve as a kind of small foretaste.
