It’s hard to choose! Cinema 600, 800, and 1200 are more than just three excellent soundbars, as many other manufacturers also offer them. They are also versatile soundbar systems that already come with a subwoofer – in the Cinema 1200, even with two satellite speakers. Optionally, the Cinema 600 and the 800 are also available as a surround 5.1 system with satellite speakers. The left, right, and center speakers are so harmoniously matched that thanks to them, the TVs, usually low-powered, speakers can be dispensed with, and instead, a well-rounded home theater experience is guaranteed. Available in three sizes and finishes, they offer great sound at every price point using handcrafted, high-quality wood materials and legendary Klipsch technology. Behind the Cinema 600 product name is the smallest of Klipsch’s Cinema soundbars, measuring 114.3 cm wide. However, the 3.1 soundbar doesn’t need to hide behind the others with a maximum acoustic output of 103 dB. The 121.9 cm wide Cinema 800 soundbar forms a strong midfield. Its system power of 800 W provides a maximum acoustic output of 107 dB. Both soundbars also come with a 10″ wireless subwoofer and are also Surround three compatible. This means they can be paired with Klipsch’s own satellite speakers. The Cinema 1200 is Klipsch’s flagship 5.1.4 Dolby Atmos soundbar system. Supplied, the 137.2 cm wide soundbar includes a wireless 12″ subwoofer, and the Wireless Surrounds speaker system. Their system power of up to 1200 watts enables the impressive acoustic maximum output of 109 dB. The included 12″ subwoofer is currently the largest subwoofer available on the market. Due to its size, it allows for a clean, powerful bass.
The two upward-facing surround speakers, which are also wireless, allow for a true 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos experience. Due to their Wi-Fi integration, the soundbars can be integrated into any existing home ecosystem without much effort. The use of Bluetooth also allows access to services like Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Spotify Connect. The inputs of the soundbars are up to date and allow 8K video pass-through by means of the HDMI-eARC standard. The finish of the models is black. However, they come including a replaceable walnut end cap. If you want, you can upgrade the devices a bit later.
Klipsch’s Cinema Sound Systems are, as already emphasized at the beginning, more than just conventional soundbars, no matter in which version. The use of an external subwoofer and the integration option, or in the case of 1200, the addition of satellite speakers, come much closer to an immersive Atmos experience than most of their competitors. Klipsch also stands out with the generous amount of included accessories. In addition to the region-specific power cord, AA batteries are included for the LED-backlit remote control, a 1.5 m HDMI cable, and mounting clip with keyhole (with 1/4 – 20 screws), including a template for wall mounting. Ideal to fully immerse yourself in the sound of the Cinema Sound System directly. Overall, we can only warmly recommend Klipsch’s soundbar systems to any person who is considering getting a soundbar and, at the same time, doesn’t want to miss out on the cinematic sound. The fact that the lower-priced models can still be supplemented with the Surround 3 speakers afterward is a real plus. The 600 is already available now; the other two will arrive in August.
