HEOS is integrated into the AV receivers and network amplifiers of Denon and Marantz, and it is compatible with a wide range of speakers and soundbars. As it is not tied to a specific speaker brand, it allows for great flexibility. Up to 64 devices can be connected to the app, allowing users to tailor their audio experience according to their individual preferences.

- Revamped User Interface: Masimo has given the HEOS app a new look. The user-friendly design ensures more intuitive navigation, presenting an overall clearer and more modern interface. Instead of the previous home screen, users now have an optimized user experience. The new “Now Playing” display at the bottom of the screen allows users to keep track of the currently playing music throughout the app.
- Optimized Home Screen: The redesigned home screen serves as a personal music hub, providing direct access to recently played tracks, favorite music, and preferred content from music services. Additionally, users can create their own HEOS playlists with favorite songs and combine content from various streaming platforms as desired.
- Universal Music Search: Searching for songs across different platforms used to be a cumbersome process. With the new universal music search, users can easily find their desired songs, as all streaming platforms and personal libraries can now be searched simultaneously.
- Wide Range of Improvements: In addition to the new look and features, the HEOS app update brings significant functional improvements. Masimo developers have worked on optimizing various aspects of the user experience, including input assistance, robust wireless surround technology, enhanced login security, uninterrupted playback, improved in-app controls, excellent audio synchronization, and seamless in-app messaging.
