HDCP

HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) refers to an encryption system for audio and video data and has been used for years in AV components to prevent the tapping of data during transmission between transmitter and receiver. If necessary, care must be taken to ensure that all relevant devices in an AV chain are licensed in order to avoid problems during playback.
