DTS:X

DTS:X is an object-based 3D surround sound format from DTS that adds up to four height channels to standard multi-channel sound, providing an immersive home cinema experience. This is achieved by using special speakers that are either directed at the ceiling of the room or attached directly to it. Alternative formats are Auro 3D and Dolby Atmos.
