Windows computer systems normally resample music from CD per the Windows Kernel mixer. This conversion derogates audio performance. Pro-Ject Direct Streaming allows bit-by-bit processing. This avoids unwanted signal alteration of the signal by way of by-passing the Windows Kernel mixer. Please select a suitable software player, for instance foobar 2000, to reproduce music.
