Lumagen has added two new entry-level models to the Radiance Pro series, which are now available. The Radiance Pro 4140-18G is housed in a 19” case and offers one 18G input and one 18G output. The 4140 comes in a compact housing. Both have all(!) the video functions of the other models in the Radiance Pro series, the 4140 differs only in its small housing and a 9G output. Both 4140s are designed for use between AVR/Pre-AMP and projector and are ideal for all home cinemas where the sources are connected to the AVR/Pre-AMP. The two 4140 models, like all other 40 models, are also optimized for low HDMI jitter (approx. 80ps) so as not to impair the sound. Even better are only the two 50 high-end models, which satisfy even the most audiophile demands with only 10ps!
New feature: All Radiance Pro are compatible with Dolby® LLDV™
The next software version, which will be released shortly, will support Dolby® LLDV™ (Low Latency Dolby Vision) and, as usual, will be available free of charge for all Radiance Pro models. It allows you to choose between HDR10 and Dolby Vision versions for all sources that support DV output. With this and the professional on-site calibration, the Radiance Pro achieves a mapping quality with projectors that previously only calibrated displays could offer.
New feature: Direct control of screen masking
Lumagen has collaborated with Screen Excellence to enable direct control of the masking controller with a Lumagen Radiance Pro. In conjunction with the Radiance Pro's Auto-Aspect function, this allows the masking position to be selected automatically without the need for an additional control system.
