Remarkable Audio Reproduction
The new HE1000SE [Special Edition] is the third version of HiFiMan’s distinguished HE1000, featuring increased sensitivity for superior performance when paired with every imaginable source, from audiophile-grade source components to high-resolution digital audio players - even tablets and smartphones.
Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm
A breakthrough core technology developed by HiFiMAN and first of its kind in headphone application. Working with this advanced material is extremely challenging yet the successful incorporation of this film as the HE1000’s planar driver is the cornerstone of its remarkable sound.
Acoustically Invisible Stealth Magnets
The advanced magnet design used on the HE1000SE, aims to be acoustically transparent, dramatically reducing wave diffraction turbulence which degrades the integrity of the sound waves. The result is reduced distortion, yielding a purer, more harmonious sound that is audibly so.
Unlike the sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the special shape of stealth magnet of HE1000SE enables the waves to pass through the magnet without generating interference.
Degradation of sound quality in a conventional planar magnetic headphone is caused by the magnets getting in the way of the sound wave.
The same happens in conventional electrostatic headphone, the degradation of sound quality caused by the stator's interference.
A conventional dynamic driver’s frequency response can be altered due to distortions and vibrations across the diaphragm surface.

Cables
The HE1000SE package includes two cables with two different jack, a 3.5mm plus adapter and the new 4.4mm Balanced jack.
