The Sony Bravia XR A95K AEP: Cognitive Intelligence For Viewing Excellence

Sony has launched a new Bravia TV. Look forward to the 4K HDR model that will captivate you with fabulous black levels, impressive contrast and natural colors. The A95K AEP is currently available in 55 inches and 65 inches. Read more in the following article.

The most important thing comes first, of course. The new Sony Bravia TV has an OLED panel, i.e. self-luminous, organic light-emitting diodes. More precisely, this is the QD OLED technology newly introduced this year, which we already reported about in detail a while ago. Blue light-emitting diodes are used in these screens. Quantum dots are used to generate the primary colors red, green and blue in each pixel. In short, Quantum Dot OLED technology is screens with true black levels without blooming effect and absolute peak brightness. Even in bright areas of the picture, the colors are not supposed to be washed out, but rather have the entire color spectrum. The new Sony TV, on the other hand, still uses a diffusion foil. It distributes and dissipates heat to minimize possible burn-in.

Let’s take a look at the other highlights of the TV.

Look forward to Cognitive Processor XR. This is data processing that is based on human perception. A cognitive intelligence ensures a breathtaking TV experience. We already know this from last year’s models. The processor in the Bravia XR TVs was designed in such a way that it virtually understands how our eye focuses and then analyzes the images. The result is incredible contrast, rich colors and impressive depth. Seeing and hearing become a realistic experience.

The multidimensional sound from the screen is in turn provided by Acoustic Surface Audio+. This means that the XR processor recognizes the noise source in the picture and adjusts the sound playback accordingly. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos round off the package. And if there is no Dolby Atmos sound, 3D Surround Upscaling provides a three-dimensional soundscape.

Of course, Google TV and Google Assistant are integrated in the classic way. You get access to media libraries, YouTube, Google Play and much more. Furthermore, Bravia Core invites you to enjoy the cinema experience in 4K picture quality at home.

The last thing to mention is the Bravia Cam, which this TV has for the first time. The camera is attached to the top of the screen and can capture up to six viewers. It is, of course, there to adjust the audio and brightness to each position so that everyone has an equally good experience. It also allows for gesture control, so all you have to do is wave to turn off the TV, for example. You can also set the display to automatically switch to energy-saving mode as soon as you leave the room or are no longer in front of the TV. Of course, you can also use the camera for video telephony. The camera can also be deactivated completely.

The Sony Bravia XR convinces in terms of performance, features and software. Feel free to come to our retail store if you want to be convinced by the model yourself.
