Reboot 2020: Samsung’s Serif TV

Samsung has numerous innovations planned for its lifestyle models in 2020. We've already begun on the subject. Among them are the popular Serif TV with its stylish frame and chic stand. We've listed its changes briefly below.

It has been quite a while since Samsung first presented the design television Serif TV. We reported about it in detail at that time. This year there’ll be an update for the 4K TV, which will now be available in the sizes 43 inches (108cm), 49 inch (123cm) and 55 inches (138cm). It also comes in the subtle colours Cloud White (ceramic white) and Cotton Blue (night blue). These are great news for the showpiece!

The Serif TV, now with the code LS01T, can either be mounted on the wall or placed on a stand of four spread legs. Just like a piece of wooden furniture, it nestles inconspicuously into a space. This was already the case with the first version. Roughly speaking, the technical features of the new Serif are quite similar to those of the new Frame TV. Here you can find an explainer on this as well.

The big difference is probably that the Serif doesn’t have the Art mode, but instead combines the Ambient mode of the old models with those of the QLEDs. This means there is now an enormously large selection of content can be displayed on the television. Particularly impressive is the power cable can be stored inconspicuously in the stand, which preserves the chic, picture-like design.

What else the Serif TV brings along will hopefully be revealed soon. Until then, we are looking forward to the update and are curious to see what Samsung still has to offer in 2020.
