Image Quality – ‘Perfect Black’
The lynch pin of the LG presentation was also this year, OLED technology, which has been for many years the unique selling point compared to the three major competitors 0Samsung, Panasonic and Sony as their consistent application in the luxury segment. As the subject, HDR clearly stands on the TV market this year, in the first place, of course, the benefits of OLED display when playing such content has been adequately emphasized and both by supporting the HDR standards Dolby Vision and through the certification of UHD Alliance–tag Ultra HD Premium. In addition, LG gave his argument but also with the demo material shown additional emphasis: The images were sharp, the strong colours – and their absence in the form of the much-quoted ‘perfect black’ – looked impressive.
Models & Design
Also noteworthy is the design in particular of the two top class series OLED G6 (77 and 65 inches) and OLED E6 (65 and 55 inches), which are largely equipped technically identically and with an extremely narrow “Picture–on-glass” displays (first picture below). Both ranges feature a combined stand with integrated Harman & KardonSoundbar. While these turns in the G6 series by folding into a VESA wall mount compatible, the base construction must be removed and there is a separate holder for use in the E6 series in case of wall mounting. The devices OLED C6D (Curved) and B6D series may be a little less extravagant and come without soundbar walk out, but also possess Harman & Kardon speaker systems and must also be optically not hide.

Finally it should be noted that the new generation finally Tuner was greeted with a dual triple and with the updated version of our own operating system – is equipped – webOS 3.0.
