No Test In-Store Visits!

As of Friday, June 4th, Berlin's new Corona rules allow you to visit our Kreuzberg retail store without a test. Wearing an FFP2 mask and keeping a minimum distance is still required, and only one customer per 20 square meters of store space is allowed. Furthermore, we ask you to make appointments via our reservation form. This keeps waiting time to a minimum. We look forward to seeing you!

We Bid You Adieu, Dear Norbert

We begin this year by sadly bidding farewell to our dear friend, valued colleague, HiFi im Hinterhof founder and an exceptional person, Norbert Ziemer.

Norbert was one of the original HiFi crew from the wild '80s! He'd been with us on this journey for the past 40 years.
Norbert always kept our spirits up — through thick and thin — with his unique charm, wit and humour.
After a battle with chronic illness, Norbert passed away peacefully at home on January 5th at age 67.
We will remember Norbert for his deep and passionate love of music, aesthetics, and the time and empathy he always gave every member of our team.
As a colleague, Norbert always stuck to his beliefs — he never shied away or hesitated to voice his opinion. All of us here at in HiFi im Hinterhof benefited from attentiveness and conviction.
Norbert was, of course, very popular with our customers too, who we know will miss his presence as much as we will.
Above all his love of music — and the pleasure it brings into our lives — was the passion to which he dedicated much of his life energy.

We know Norbert shared this connection with many whose paths he crossed. His life-affirming attitude will be dearly missed by all of us here at HiFi im Hinterhof.

Norbert will be remembered for the pure pleasure of music that he brought into the lives of so many over the past 40 years.

It's been our aim for a while now to make our content more accessible. As part of this, we are now providing English and German subtitles to our YouTube videos. We've been asked many times to do this, and now we are getting to it!
