DTS:X in Our Showrooms
The Californians from DTS have announced after a damn long time, their 3D sound format DTS:X. Meanwhile, the first DTS: X firmware updates for the Denon AVR-X7200W/A and the Marantz AV8802 (A) have been released and thus the Dolby Atmos a competitor, is also of course in our available to hear in our demo rooms.

With faster data transfer rates, better coding methods and higher storage capacities, digital streaming music formats have developed in recent years as a serious alternative to traditional media playback and now exist for HiFi applications in a number of appropriate solutions. These include so-called streaming clients, for example, which serve as a bridge between an existing system and the digital world. We provide two devices in this category - Auralic Aries Mini and Blue Sound Node 2 - each with their different emphases.

We want to make the last item before Christmas and the New Year a small review of the technical development that took place in 2015 as well as an outlook for the year 2016. Many aspects that have taken up space in the past twelve months reporting on will be discussions that will probably continue to occupy us for a while yet. Hearing Experiment: Vinyl, CD or MP3? Musik Express magazine decides
A few months ago we were asked whether we could do an experiment for the music magazine Musik Express: three different test candidates listening to different pieces of music in succession in each case on record, CD and MP3 and exclusively on the basis of listening to check out in which order the different formats have been played. The article is now available in the current issue of the magazine to read to the experiment, but we also have some impressions recorded in words and pictures.
