Fourteen years and three generations later, the upgraded Zeppelin lands in the streaming age with even more detailed and dynamic sound in the form of a Bluetooth sound system with a revised design.
With 240 watts across five drivers, Bowers & Wilkins’ unsurpassed expertise in speaker design comes to the fore. The new 150mm subwoofer is placed at the center of the speaker structure to provide a rich foundation. Optimized to avoid unwanted vibrations of the cabinet, it enables a pure and flexible bass reproduction. To the left and right of it, two 90 mm drivers form the midrange. They use the company’s proprietary Fixed Suspension Transducer (FST™) technology, just like the 800 Series Diamond models, among others. Completely shielded from vibrations, a double dome tweeter is mounted on the outer edge of each cabinet. These originally came from the award-winning 600 Series Anniversary Edition.
